Scholars of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science have published a new terminological dictionary

Under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies and responsible editor, A.D. Kurmanalieva, the scholars of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science have released a work entitled “Al-Farabi’s Dictionary of Philosophical Terms (Arabic–Kazakh–Russian)”.

This publication was prepared as a practical solution to the theoretical objectives of a research project. The dictionary is intended for specialists and scholars engaged in translating medieval Arab-Muslim intellectual heritage as well as contemporary philosophical texts.

The terminological dictionary is addressed to specialists in philosophy, philology, cultural studies, and Oriental studies, as well as to the broader intellectual community and researchers. The work contributes to the systematization of concepts used in academic discourse and ensures accurate and high-quality translation of philosophical texts.
