Open Class Conducted by a Doctoral Student

On February 10, 2026, an open class was conducted at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University by a first-year doctoral student of the educational program “8D05401 – Mathematics”, Bektal Zhansaya.
The topic of the class was: “Solvability of the direct problem for a homogeneous pseudoparabolic equation. Convergence analysis of series for the solution and its derivatives”.
The class was held from 18:00 to 19:00. During the session, the doctoral student presented the theoretical material in a structured manner, covering the formulation of the direct problem for pseudoparabolic equations, issues of existence and uniqueness of solutions, as well as the representation of solutions in series form and the study of their convergence. Relevant examples and analyses were also provided.
The event was organized within the framework of doctoral students’ pedagogical practice. The academic supervisor of the pedagogical practice is Professor, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Khonatbek Khompysh. The class aimed at developing the professional teaching competencies of future academics.
