The next seminar-training aimed at advancing the level of scientific publications was held

At the initiative of the Department of Science and Innovation, the university hosted a regular event aimed at enhancing the quality of scientific publications.

On March 27, 2026, a seminar-training was organized at the Al-Farabi Scientific Library on the topics «Paths to Successful Publication and Searching for Scientific Collaboration»  and «Preparing a Manuscript for Journals Indexed in the Scopus Database».

The event featured Rabiga Kozhamkul, a consultant for Informascope in the Central Asia region, as the speaker. During the seminar-training, she outlined the main stages of publishing a scientific article and explained how to effectively present research results. Additionally, opportunities for establishing international collaborations, conducting joint research, and properly utilizing academic networks were widely discussed.

During the seminar, participants received a comprehensive overview of the requirements for preparing articles for Scopus-indexed journals, covering both structure and formatting guidelines. Particular emphasis was placed on key author considerations, such as selecting the right journal, enhancing manuscript quality, and navigating the peer review process.

As a result of the event, participants became familiar with the essential steps for preparing scientific publications and gained important information to advance their research at the international level.
