Educational event ‘The Role of National Education and Digital Technologies in Developing the Psychological Well-being and Civic Responsibility of Young People’

at Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Sh. On 3 April, an educational event on the theme “The Role of National Education and Digital Technologies in Developing the Psychological Well-being and Civic Responsibility of Young People” was held at the No. 12 Unspecialised Gymnasium named after V. V.

The aim of the event was to strengthen the psychological well-being of the students, to foster their civic stance, to provide an education based on national values, and to develop a culture of effective use of digital technologies.

During the educational event, the role of young people in modern society, their spiritual and moral upbringing, and the formation of national consciousness and civic responsibility were widely discussed. Additionally, ways to preserve personal culture in the digital space, use information responsibly, and strengthen safe online behaviour and psychological resilience were explored.

The event presented key ideas that promote the personal development of young people by harmonising national upbringing with modern digital opportunities. The students were engaged, expressing their own views and exchanging opinions on the topic.

The educational event was organised by Suleimenova R.M. (8D01802 – Social Pedagogy) and Kalymbetov D.A. (8D01101 – Pedagogy and Psychology). The event was an important step towards supporting the psychological well-being of young people, enhancing their civic responsibility, and integrating national values with the modern educational process.
