Free Community-Oriented Educational Courses Launched at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On April 8, 2026, a significant social and educational initiative aimed at the wider community was launched at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The project is organized by the Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Department of Pre-University Training. As part of this initiative, free educational courses are being conducted for the public at the “Ai-Kunim” kindergarten, located at 44 Ushkonyr Street, Bulakty village, Karasai district, Almaty region.

The main goal of the project is to enhance access to education, promote the principle of lifelong learning, and develop the intellectual potential of local residents. The course program incorporates key components of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on fostering environmental awareness, increasing social responsibility, and developing critical thinking and modern skills.

The total duration of the course is 36 academic hours. Classes are conducted in an interactive format, using effective teaching methods that combine theory and practice. Participants gain practical knowledge that can be applied in everyday life, taking an important step toward personal development.

Kindergarten children are actively involved in the courses. Among the participants are: Tanjarkozov Raina, Ospan Ademi, Serikqozy Erkesh, Zhaylas Iman, Abilkhan Muslim, Ruslanuly Meirkhan, Zhantobek Eldan, Damirqozy Beiyim, Asylbekkyzy Alina, Maksut Alina, Alin Aigerim, Nurbek Arina, Baimurat Dinzhan, Bozbalai Zere, Abilkai Madina, Zhurynbai Aliya, Moldagali Nurasyl, Turganov Daniyal, Tomiris, Eldana, Ansagan, Yerassyl, and Nazerke.

This project not only strengthens the connection between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and society, but also serves as a vivid example of accessible and high-quality education for the local community. The university team plans to continue implementing such initiatives, contributing to the promotion of education and science.
