Science Without Borders: Visit of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Delegation to KazNU Museum

The Museum of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University welcomed a delegation from the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

During the visit, the guests explored the history of the university, its scientific achievements, and its role in the development of education and science in Kazakhstan. The exhibits reflecting KazNU’s evolution into a leading research university attracted particular interest.

Special attention was given to the university’s modern scientific and technological infrastructure, especially the Farabi Hub — an innovation space integrating education, research, and industry. The delegation was introduced to the capabilities of the supercomputer cluster, one of the few in the world, used for genetic data processing, language model development, and climate research.

The visit contributed to strengthening scientific cooperation and academic ties between Kazakhstan and China.
