On March 21, 2026, the international competition “Best Student of Central Asia” was organized and held in Astana city. This competition brought together talented and promising young people from across the region, providing them with opportunities to exchange experience and knowledge. The event was aimed at developing youth policy, supporting the scientific and intellectual potential of students, and strengthening cooperation among the countries of Central Asia. The main organizer of the competition was the Republican Innovation Center “Zhana Kazakhstan,” which implements projects in the fields of education and youth development.

In Kazakhstan, the international competition “Best Student of Central Asia” (also known as “Best Student of Middle Asia”) is jointly organized by the National Innovation Research Center “Bilim-orkenieti,” the “Uzdik Studentter Academy,” and the Republican Innovation Center “Zhana Kazakhstan.” These organizations have extensive experience in organizing educational and scientific events at the regional level. Their joint activities are aimed at identifying and supporting talented youth, developing students’ leadership qualities, and establishing sustainable partnerships among educational institutions in Central Asian countries.

The award ceremony for the winners was held on March 21 in Astana within the framework of the “Best Student of Central Asia” forum. The forum brought together top students of the region, young scientists, experts, and public figures on one platform, enabling discussions on important issues related to education, science, youth policy, and the role of youth in modern society.

During the forum, special attention was given to developing leadership skills among young people, enhancing their scientific potential, and supporting initiatives aimed at sustainable development. Participants exchanged experiences, presented their scientific and social projects, and had the opportunity to establish new professional and academic connections.

The competition was organized jointly by the Republican Innovation Research Center “Zhana Kazakhstan” and the Innovative Education Center. The main goal of the event was to identify, support, and encourage talented, инициативе-driven, and socially active youth capable of making a significant contribution to the development of science, education, and society. The competition serves as a platform to unite the best students of Central Asia, promote the exchange of experience, showcase achievements, and develop the professional potential of future specialists.

This award was granted for contributions to the development of youth policy, active participation in social activities, and achievements in the field of education.

The student’s scientific supervisor is Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics, PhD Skabylov Alisher Aliuly.

This achievement clearly demonstrates the high potential of university students and confirms their ability to successfully represent themselves at the international level.

We sincerely congratulate Berkinbay Nazerke Alzhankyzy on her well-deserved victory and wish her continued success, new achievements, professional growth, and further accomplishments in the future.
