Dialogue of Cultures and Philosophy: Visit of Kastamonu University Delegation to KazNU Museum
The Museum of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University welcomed a delegation from Kastamonu University (Turkey). The visit created an intellectually engaging atmosphere and became a platform for meaningful academic dialogue.
A key focus of the visit was the legacy of Al-Farabi, the great Eastern philosopher and scholar, widely known as the “Second Teacher” after Aristotle. His works cover philosophy, logic, music, and political thought, and his ideas about knowledge and a harmonious society remain highly relevant today.
During the tour, an engaging discussion unfolded around Al-Farabi’s philosophical heritage and its influence on global intellectual traditions. Participants reflected on how his ideas are interpreted in modern academia and their role in shaping humanistic values.
