A new stage of KazNU's partnership with Chinese universities in the field of robotics

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held talks in an expanded format with a delegation led by Jiang Yong, Director General of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and Zhang Qiao, President of Suzhou University, who arrived at the university on a working visit.

The parties discussed issues of expanding partnership and implementing joint projects in the field of robotics.

The head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, noted the strategic importance of cooperation in the field of education and science between the two countries. Also in his speech, the rector noted that the partnership relations between KazNU and Chinese universities are developing every day. As proof, he stressed that KazNU has scientific centers and laboratories opened jointly with Chinese companies and universities.

"For us, the development of international cooperation is one of our top priorities. I hope that your trips to KazNU will allow us to raise contacts between the two universities to a new level. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is ready for an open dialogue, joint research and expanded exchange of students and teachers",- Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.

In turn, Jiang Yong, Director General of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, noted that cooperation in the field of education and science between Kazakhstan and China is developing at a high level and expressed confidence that relations between KazNU and Suzhou University are promising. "We are interested in long-term and fruitful cooperation with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Joint programs and research projects open up new opportunities for the youth of the two countries",- said Jiang Yong.

During the meeting, the president of Suzhou University, Zhang Qiao, thanked for the greeting and expressed his willingness to work with KazNU in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation.
