Scientific ties with Chinese partners are being strengthened

A delegation from Inner Mongolia University (China), led by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Director of the Institute of Life Sciences, Hu Wei, arrived at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on a working visit.

The honorary guests were met by Samgat Yermekbayev, Acting First Vice-Rector and Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazNU. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation between the two universities.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of academic mobility and double-degree programs, as well as the expansion of opportunities for using scientific centers and research laboratories.

Hu Wei praised the achievements of KazNU in developing international cooperation and expressed interest in further expanding the partnership between Inner Mongolia University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Following the narrow-based negotiations, the parties signed a bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening their partnership.
