Summer school "Sports Management" will be held

August 14-27, 2023, the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health of the Al- Farabi Kazakh National University together with Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) under the DAAD project holds a summer school "Sport Management". The event is devoted to topical issues of knowledge in the field of sports economics, as well as sports management and marketing.

   Within the framework of the summer school "Sport Management" scientific-theoretical and applied knowledge on sport economics and sport management (including sport marketing) is transferred. This specialization usually focuses on the application of economic and business management tools in selected areas of sport.

    In addition to lectures, the summer school also offers its international participants an exciting accompanying cultural program. Its aim is to familiarize participants with German culture and lifestyle, as well as with the process of studying and research in Germany and Kazakhstan.

     The lecturers of the summer school are leading experts in the field of sport management and sport economics - academics from German universities:

1. Frank Daumann (Friedrich Schiller University Jena)
2. Norbert Schütte (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz)
3. Markus Breuer (Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences SRH)
4. Benedikt Römmelt (Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences SRH)
5. Coordinator of the summer school - PhD, deputy head of the department of NIDIMS of physical education and sport of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Adilzhanova MI.

All lectures, classes and events are held in English.  Participation in the Summer School is free of charge.
