Date: February 27, 2026
Organized by: Curator of the Department of Cybersecurity and Cryptology, Moldir Saginay, and 2nd-year students

During the curator hour, students learned about the essence of financial literacy and its role in everyday life. Methods of effective financial management, proper income distribution, and reducing unnecessary expenses were explained using real-life examples.

Students actively participated in group work: they created personal and family budget models and analyzed income and expense distribution. They also developed plans for achieving financial goals and suggested saving strategies. The differences between deposits and investments were discussed, and each group presented their posters.

During the reflection session, students answered the question: “How do I build financial discipline?” and shared their personal plans.

In conclusion, students recognized the importance of financial literacy and took a step toward developing skills in financial management, planning, and responsibility.
