A team with the participation of Aidana Aslanovna Galymzhanova, a doctoral student at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was recognized among the winners of the educational project “Taldau Mektebi. Almaty – School of Analytics”, having presented an analytical report highly evaluated by the expert jury.
This achievement, attained with the participation of a representative of KazNU, demonstrates the high level of training of young researchers at the university – a leading scientific and educational center of the country. The university consistently develops research culture, international cooperation, and practice-oriented education, creating favorable conditions for training a new generation of specialists.
The Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU is one of the leading centers for training professionals in economics, finance, management, business, and public administration. Special attention is given to the development of analytical competencies, data-driven approaches, applied research, and the integration of modern digital technologies into the educational process.
The project “Taldau Mektebi. Almaty – School of Analytics”, implemented from May 16 to June 20, 2026, on the initiative of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Almaty city administration and the Youth Policy Department, brought together young professionals and researchers to develop analytical solutions to pressing urban challenges.
At the final stage, 13 teams representing the public sector, academia, and business participated. Each team conducted a comprehensive study of a selected urban issue and presented an analytical report with practical recommendations to the expert panel.
With the participation of Aidana Galymzhanova, the team developed the project “LEZ go SMART, Almaty”, focused on intelligent traffic flow management in the context of implementing a Low Emission Zone (LEZ). The analytical report presents findings on traffic load and air pollution levels, proposes mechanisms for digital monitoring and vehicle access control, and offers practical recommendations to improve the environmental efficiency of the city’s transport system.
Following the public defense, the analytical report received high recognition from the expert community and was awarded the special nomination “Best Analytical Report According to Experts” by the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The success of the analytical report developed with the participation of Aidana Galymzhanova once again confirms the strong scientific potential of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and its Higher School of Economics and Business, which train competitive researchers and analysts capable of applying modern data analysis methods and delivering practical solutions for the sustainable development of the economy, urban environment, and public administration system.
